The note read: "Marshals, you were warned. LEAVE THE AREA!" It was found in the only remaining tent in the Marshals campsite they had left just a few hours ago, They were unsure if this was the work of the so called "CFF" or possibly it was the work of Ivan Reshkov, an ex-commonwealth with hatred for the Marshals. As the Marshals checked to make sure there was nobody still nearby their camp they contemplated what to do next. They couldn't just leave the area, as the demands stated, it was their job to protect the people in the area and they wouldn't abandon these people. The Marshal and Deputy Lewis headed back to a different camp they had set up to get some supplies and bring them back while Deputy Masterson stayed nearby Svet, watching it from a distance. After a long trek for the supplies, the Marshal and Deputy Lewis were making their way back to Svet when they got a call from Masterson on their radio saying "2 Heavily armed men heading in from Turovo, there was a robbery reported there earlier and these guys match the description." The Marshal Replied "Roger that, Deputy were on our way" The Marshal and Deputy Lewis made haste towards Svet hoping to be able to contact these people and see if they were responsible for some of this, Suddenly the Marshal had sudden business to attend to elsewhere, so Deputy A.R. Met up with Lewis and they went from there to Svet and met up with Masterson. When they arrived Bat told them that he had last seen the men heading onto the rocks above Svet so while he stayed back a bit Deputies Lewis and A.R. took 2 different routes up onto the rocks however before A.R. reached the top of the rocks one of the men had a gun pointed at him telling him to put his weapon on his back and his hands up. The man didn't seem to want any supplies but was acting very suspicious in his actions as Deputy Lewis watched him from the nearby treeline, with the mans head in his sights. Before long the man spotted Deputy Lewis and started getting very hostile and so a burst was fired at the man when he lifted his weapon, before he ran off and Deputy Lewis and Masterson gave chase and he lead them into some rocks where he had a friend waiting who immediately ambushed Bat and Lewis, leaving them both incapacitated from gunshot wounds. Deputy A.R. was not far behind but by the time he got there the men were fleeing with most of the gear from the downed Deputies. A.R. immediately called for backup and the remaining Marshals and friends made their way from Berezino up to Svet. After A.R. tended to the downed Deputies they grabbed what weapons they could and headed into town to meet up with the reinforcements. They relentlessly searched for the 2 assailants however it had seemed they had fled the area. After the reinforcements arrived there was around 7 armed Marshals and allies in the area and before long other people began showing up to check out what had been happening in the city. Before long, a wanted man named Mike Hunt had showed up in the square in front of the church, the man was acting very antsy and suspicious and before long the Marshals knew why when automatic weapon fire came in from the southwest causing Deputy Lewis and 1 more to flank around to the Southeast and before long Lewis had spotted a 2 man group in the treeline matching the description of the 2 assailants earlier so he called up to the other marshals and before long the group has surrounded them and the Marshals opened up on the duo and they returned fire, during the fight one Marshal was wounded however both assailants were downed without much more difficulty. After a quick search of their gear they found the items that were stolen off the downed deputies earlier in the day, including Lewis' Sword, continuing the suspicion he had that his sword was somehow bound to him. After such an eventful night the Marshals headed back to camp and prepared for bed, to continue their adventure another day.

"I don't really know about this place anymore" Deputy Lewis said as they patrolled the streets of Svet. "It's too big and surrounded by high ground, an awful place to try and defend." But the Marshals had to stay in the area until everyone else had left so they could make sure everyone stayed safe. It was a small group, Deputy Masterson, Lewis, and The Marshal were patrolling Svet about to leave the area to scout out a new location for the trader city. On their way out, however they ran into an armed man and tried talking to him however without a word he bolted and the Marshals gave chase and eventually, after a short chase it ended with him putting himself at the 3rd story of a building with a gun pointed at the stairs. Marshal began his negotiating, trying to find out the man's name or motives. After a brief discussion Marshal knew the man was planning on trying to shoot his way out and mentioned somewhere in the exchange that his name was NobodyNoCrime, a notorious murderer who had it out for the Marshals. So as the situation progressed the man repositioned himself to try and take a shot at Marshal and that was when Marshal let off a long UMP burst into the man's chest, killing him. The Marshals regrouped, scavenged and got rid of the body, and headed out of Svet, but it wouldn't be the last time they visited that hellish town.

"Oh god what could possibly be happening this time" Deputy Lewis said as they were headed back to Svet yet again. It had been a week since they had last been there and they warned every good man and woman they knew in the land to avoid it at all costs so more trouble wouldn't be stirred, but it was obviously too late for that. The group was 4 Marshals and 2 friends, they were headed to Svet after reports of attempted robbery in the nearby town of Turovo. As they arrived they didn't see much while they cleared the town and the rocks nearby. They had cleared almost all of the buildings when they were headed to the square to regroup, this was when they noticed that there was a small pile of things in the church, and someone was sitting down behind the items and beckoned to the Marshal to come closer so they could speak. It seemed fishy so the rest of the marshals set up throughout town covering the area, but to no avail. Halfway through a conversation with the man in the church the Marshal was shot from close range by a different man. The man in the church shut the door and hid while the deputies tried to locate the shooter. It seems he had disappeared to the north of the church, an area the Marshals hadn't covered very well. They knew the man had an automatic weapon, a mountain pack, gorka helmet, and press vest. Using that description the Marshals stayed in cover as The Marshal treated to his wounds. A man matching the description was spotted heading up to the scene of the shooting no more than 5 minutes later and he was quickly neutralized with a bullet in the head from one of the Marshals. Shortly after, things seemed to have calmed down and the Marshal went back and spoke with the man in the church - this time with full cover. It turned out the man was NoBodyNoCrime, the notorious villain who just one week before was involved in a shootout with the Marshals. However now he was here asking for forgiveness and to change his ways, he wanted to be a new man, a good man. He had left a deposit of food at the church as a show of good faith and the Marshals confiscated any ammo he had, just in case, and let the man go to start his new life. It wasn't but 5 minutes after that when sniper shots rang out from a nearby treeline, aimed at a friend of the Marshals. He quickly dodged the bullets and ran as the man chased him, he hid in in a bush and waited for his pursuer to pass him, then when when the moment was right - he shot him square in the back of the head. The identity of the shooter was unknown, but another days work was done for the Marshal Service, and that's what matters.

"Wow... I wonder where this old thing has been hiding..." Lewis remarks after finding his old journal buried in an old pack at their newly established stronghold. It had been about a year since those events of old, the old threats of the terrorist organization in svet were long gone, and the focus of bandits had shifted from the cannibals in cell block c to the menaces called "the outlawz". Times were different, the Pinkertons had opened up a trade post that had quite steady business, the marshals service had gained more new deputies to the force and the climate of the land had changed. Reading his old journal he recalled the old times, how different things were, and how far everyone had come. He did realize however that one thing never changed, his sword that lay on his back that had stuck with him all this time, he still felt superstition towards it, it always returned.

He packed up the journal and headed out to go look for some loot while another deputy stayed at the base, holding it down and organizing the supplies they had. He made the quick trek to vybor military compound and in the midst of gather supplies he received a signal showing that the base was under attack. Deputy Lewis contacted the deputy that had stayed back on the radio, learning where the assailants were, how many, and what weapons they had... But most importantly that it was them... The outlawz. He quickly headed back from the south, and as he approached the base he began surveillance and spotted the assailants running about, getting into position to the south of the town, he waited. Shortly after, the bandits grew impatient and one claimed he would be leaving, he departed South, running towards Deputy Lewis, once the moment was right, Lewis squeezed the trigger on his M4, releasing bursts into the bandit, killing him. Shortly after, another deputy that was outside of the wall with only a pistol was gunned down by one of the other bandit members, and the outlawz made their retreat, thinking they had gained vengeance for their fallen comrade, but oh... Could they ever be more wrong.

"Fuck man, be a little more rough, will ya?" Deputy Lewis said to another deputy removing the bandage from around his chest. "They hit us hard, im just glad we hit them just as bad, how are the others doing?" Lewis asked the Deputy. "Fine, Dirt is making a recovery and so are Snakes and Indgo." The night before The Marshals base had been under attack, by the outlawz. They first ambushed Deputy Big Dirt, the main collector for the group. They fled after the ambush, so the Marshals took up a defensive posture and waited for the attack. It took quite a while, but eventually an Oz was spotted running towards the church nearby the base, then quickly sprinting out of it, heading to a nearby home, he took up a position on the second story of the home and moved to fire on the deputies stuck inside base when Deputy Snakes dispatched him with a quick bullet to the head. Soon after another individual was spotted moving in the same building, he fired on and hit Deputy Snakes before being killed by Deputy Raffman. Raffman soon spotted another assailant inside of the church so he kept watching him while Deputy Lewis and Deputy Indgoman moved in on the church to breach and clear it. Once the deputies were close, the man in the church fired on Deputy Raffman, knocking him unconscious. Deputy Lewis and Indgoman were in position to breach right as they heard the shooter run out a third door on the other side of the church. Deputy Lewis turned the corner and saw the assailant running out of the compound and opened fire on him, the man continued to circle the compound while Deputy Lewis gave chase, leading the man into Deputy Indgoman, they exchanged fire and both were hit before Deputy Lewis came around the corner and finished off the assailant. The Marshals had taken casualties but they made sure the Outlawz took the same. "Well better get ready before they end up coming back..." Deputy Lewis said. Oh was he ever right.
