I was trying to locate any kind of timeline or lore info regarding US-1 and US-2 just basically how much time has passed since the initial decent into chaos? :) Are we are year in? 5 years? Just some idea so I can shape my character properly

I am referring to what actual IG date is it on the servers? 1 week after outbreak? 5 years? Since my char is new to the area I need to create a back story but need to know where we are date-wise in regards to the outbreak.

Were you the one that started the discussion on Facebook? Sounds like Weyland has left some clues at the various survivor camps marked on the heatmap. If anyone has found one, would you mind sharing what it said? Or at least leave the note where you found it.

I think Dean Hall once stated that the initial timeline is several years after the initial infection.
