How are we supposed to deal with dying and Respawn in terms of rp? Do we continue wth the same name, personality, etc.? Or do we have to make some change from our past life? Also, what about changing or name to fit the rp (I.e. Sgt. Brantley the cop, then playing Trader Joe in the next life)

You should play the same role for a bit (several lives) , otherwise it's too much work for Weyland to keep noting your name change to keep track of you in game. You can of course change your name and role whenever you want, I reccomend you try sticking with the same one at least for a week. (On a side note, we have a guy who plays a gypsy, whenever he does he comes back as another family member in the gypsy clan - same name but with a number noting its a different one for him. Have fun out there!
