My background is that I was on my year abroad study (I study German at Hull IRL) when the infection hit, and I have lost all contact with my friends and family, and I am trying to get back to them. Due to my family's military History, and my own training as a Reservist in the British Army (also true) I am managing to survive day to day. I have had a few close calls, including losing all of my gear and equipment when a group of Bandits came roaming near my camp. Luckily I got away, however i lost the only photos of my family and girlfriend. I can only hope that i find a group whom I can share my knowledge and skills with.
