The CPD had an eventful weekend in Polana. We met some of the local traders and we patrolled the streets to keep them safe.
We had a lady that we couldn't save from a suicide. We found a syringe and a suicide note. We believe she may have overdosed.
Later in the afternoon we had shots fired into town from a sniper on the northern hill. One of the members of the Commonwealth was shot dead. W e then went in to a man hunt looking for the killer. I was looking and found a man by the name of Mr. Wright hiding in a shed. Since he wasn't here previously I went in pursuit. He tried running but after a while he threw his hands up and cooperated. He did not appear to be the sniper but with the help of Mr. Pete, we escorted him into a house for questioning. He seemed very on edge and Mr. Pete helped search the man. He had pistols and ammo but that was all. We took his ammo for the time being until another officer could arrive. Once the officer arrived, the man seemed uneasy and wanted to leave. We gave him his ammo back and we escorted him out with the shooter on the loose.
Once the rest of the officers arrived shortly, we went out on a manhunt looking for the sniper. Mr. Pete then called for me as he said he had shot the suspect that was reported as the shooter. Once checking the body we found the mosin that made the deadly shot. The assailant was Mr. Wright who escaped before the CPD could arrive.
Overall a good day. The rest of the day was spent patrolling the area of anyone leaving the Potato's trading event. The CPD did not condone such event but we were more worried about people leaving the event and getting robbed or killed. Sorry to those who did not survive the event. We heard of gunfire and explosions, and once again we want to remind you that we asked you not to attend a known bandit(turning survivor) group. We didn't want to hear of casualties but hopefully in the future such event will be friendly.
