Bugged section of the map on Server 2?

I was traveling west above the NW airfield area when all of a sudden my FPS dropped to 1 and is stuck there. I've logged in and out but it's stuck. I can't really move. Is this a known issue or does it sound like it's just me?

this is a known issue. its a side effect of persistence. we are looking into what we can do to prevent it.
