Newer Survivors! Welcome, Welcome! I am new to the forums and this will be my first "big" post so let me know what you think, but I know a thing or two on how to Survive DayZ.

You can't always be the expert or a survivor but you can use these tips by AceBane21
Lastly, To survive, you will most likely be put into a Combat situation, Here's tips by Pixel Enemy.
So, First day of Chernarus? NO Problem!
First things first;
1. Look for a Stone, then craft a knife.
2. Craft bandages
3. Either scavenge towns or craft a backpack with Sticks, rope and burlap.
4. Hunt and fish: by, crafting a bow and finding feathers or FISH by,
• Get a ashwood stick
•A Shovel to get Worms/Bait
•Rope and Fishing Hook
•Patience
5. Interaction for supplies but watch for the bandits! staying on Outskirts of big cities is key.
